This group includes all the general system parameters and indicators.

Setting Up or Viewing System Parameters

You can set up or view the following system parameters that are available for different instance types in the running SAP CC Core Server system.

Parameter Definition

PROTOCOL_VERSION The versions of the communication protocol (via Message TCP) authorized to be registered

SYSTEM_ID The unique identifier of the SAP CC Core Server system in the SAP system landscape

Notes

Use the set command of the SAP CC Admin+ user interface to change the parameter values. The immediate change may be not possible and a restart is necessary. Consult the details for each parameter.
Use the get command to retrieve the parameter values manually.
Use the SAP CC Config Tool user interface to set up a complete or partial list of system parameters (restart needed).

Viewing and Inspecting Indicators

You can retrieve the runtime values of the following indicators in your running SAP CC Core Server system:

Indicator Definition

CURRENT_DATE The current date of the host for this instance

HARDWARE_KEY The hardware key of the host where the specified SAP CC instance is installed. It is associated to the license.

HOSTNAME The name of the machine hosting the instance of the SAP CC system

INSTALLATION_NO The installation number associated to the license

INSTALLATION_PATH The installation directory of the corresponding SAP CC system instance in a particular host

INSTANCE_ID The unique ID of the corresponding instance in its SAP CC system. This ID includes the type of the instance and a digit number.

INSTANCE_NAME (Deprecated) The long name of the instance in the SAP CC system. It includes the instance ID and the host name.

PROCESS_IDENTIFIER The process ID of the Java Virtual Machine (when it is available)

SAP_INSTANCE_NAME The SAP Instance Name of the SAP CC system instance in its host

SAP_INSTANCE_NUMBER The SAP Instance Number (00-97) of the SAP CC system instance in its host

SYSTEM_NO The SAP system number associated to the license

TRX_NAME The SAP product name and commercial release number of the deployed SAP CC system

VERSION The technical version number of the instance in the SAP CC system

Use the get command of the SAP CC Admin+ user interface to retrieve the indicator values manually.
