Indicator: INSTANCE_ID

Definition

The unique ID of the corresponding instance in its SAP CC system. This ID includes the type of the instance and a digit number.

Description and Use

This indicator returns the identifier of the corresponding instance in the SAP CC Core Server system. This identifier is unique in the corresponding SAP CC system. This identifier may not be unique in the SAP system landscape, when several SAP CC systems are deployed.

Note

An SAP CC system instance is deployed on a host and runs in a Java Virtual Machine (JVM). The Operating System (OS) of the host may assign a process ID to this JVM.

Syntax and Constraints

The ID includes the type of the instance and a digit number defined at the installation time.
