This system parameter defines the unique identifier of the SAP CC Core Server system in the SAP system landscape. It is the SAP System ID (SID or SAPID) declared at the installation time with the SAPinst user interface.
Caution
You cannot change this identifier after the installation. Refer to the SAP CC Installation Guide for more information and user assistance.
The SAP CC system is a multihost SAP system with distributed instances. This ID is used to link system instances that work together (as a system and cluster).
Another SAP CC Core Server system in the SAP system landscape has another SID. The other server systems of SAP Convergent Charging (BART Server, Diameter Server) have different SIDs.

The SID must consist of exactly three alphanumeric characters. Only uppercase letters are allowed. The first character must be a letter (not a digit). Few values are not allowed: ADD, ALL, AMD, AND, ANY, ASC, AUX, COM, CON, DBA, END, EPS, FOR, GID, IBM, INT, KEY, LOG, LPT, SAP, VAR, USR, and some other values. Refer to the SAP CC Installation Guide for more information and user assistance.
INSTANCE_ID - The unique ID of the corresponding instance in its SAP CC system. This ID includes the type of the instance and a digit number.
HOSTNAME - The name of the machine hosting the instance of the SAP CC system
INSTALLATION_PATH - The installation directory of the corresponding SAP CC system instance in a particular host
