System Information: Java Virtual Machine (JVM)

Definition

Information settings that relate to the Java Virtual Machines (JVMs) that execute the instances of the SAP CC system: Java process ID, host memory allocated to the JVM, remaining memory in the Java heap.

Description

This group includes some system indicators that relate to the Java Virtual Machines (JVMs) that execute the instances of the SAP CC Core Server system:

Each deployed instance runs in a Java Virtual Machine process.

Refer to the SAP CC Configuration Guide for more information about the memory management configuration.

Viewing and Inspecting Indicators

You can retrieve the runtime values of the following indicators in your running SAP CC Core Server system:

Indicator Definition
FREE_MEMORY The remaining free memory in the heap of the Java Virtual Machine
INSTANCE_ID The unique ID of the corresponding instance in its SAP CC system. This ID includes the type of the instance and a digit number.
PROCESS_IDENTIFIER The process ID of the Java Virtual Machine (when it is available)
TOTAL_MEMORY The total host memory allocated to the Java Virtual Machine

Note

Use the get command of the SAP CC Admin+ user interface to retrieve the indicator values manually.
