Definition

This group includes the main system parameters concerning the activation process on provider contracts or subscriptions.

Setting Up or Viewing System Parameters

You can set up or view the following system parameters that are available for different instance types in the running SAP CC Core Server system.

Parameter Definition
ACTIVATION_SCHEDULER_ENABLED The enablement or disablement of the activation scheduler in the SAP CC system
ACTIVATION_SCHEDULER_MAX_THROUGHPUT The maximum number of subscriber accounts per second that can be activated by each rater instance
ACTIVATION_SCHEDULER_RECURRENCE The recurrence period of the activation scheduler
ACTIVATION_SCHEDULER_SUBSCRIPTION_ENABLED The inclusion or exclusion of the subscription data by the internal activation scheduler
PERIOD_LIMIT_ACTIVATION The number of days after the current date accepted for an activation or charging; 0 deactivates the control function.

Notes

  • Use the set command of the SAP CC Admin+ user interface to change the parameter values. The immediate change may be not possible and a restart is necessary. Consult the details for each parameter.
  • Use the get command to retrieve the parameter values manually.
  • Use the SAP CC Config Tool user interface to set up a complete or partial list of system parameters (restart needed).

Viewing and Inspecting Indicators

You can retrieve the runtime values of the following indicators in your running SAP CC Core Server system:

Indicator Definition
ACTIVATION_LAST_TRIGGER The last date when the activation process was triggered by an SAP CC user
ACTIVATION_SCHEDULER_LAST_TRIGGER The last date when a scheduled activation on subscriptions was triggered by the SAP CC system

Use the get command of the SAP CC Admin+ user interface to retrieve the indicator values manually.
