This system parameter defines the maximum number of subscriber accounts per second that can be activated by each rater instance in the running SAP CC Core Server system. When enabled, the activation scheduler in the active updater instance requests the rater instances to perform the Activation Process to calculate the periodic and one-off fees that relate to the provider contracts (or subscriptions) of each subscriber account.
Each rater instance uses the threshold to limit the activation of periodic and one-off fees to ensure optimum performance especially for the rating of service usage events (marketable service consumption by end customers of the service provider).
