Changing Subscription Orders

Prerequisites

You want to edit the items in a subscription order. You might want to do this for the following reasons:

To change order data (e.g. data on reporting or sales support, bank details, payment card data)

Caution Caution

Changes to data relevant to shipping and billing should always be recorded as unlimited changes.

End of the caution.

Create an unlimited change, e.g. to preassign a new delivery type or a new payment method
Create a limited change, e.g. a suspension or redirection
Restart an item or convert it to a standard item (if it is a trial or free item; this does not apply to WBZ subscriptions)
Close a subscription item (terminate, cancel or split)

Procedure

Call up the item in the subscription order that you want to change as follows depending on where you are making the change:

Maintenance function Change subscription	Choose Logistics Media Sales and Distribution Periodical Sales and Distribution Sales Order Subscription Change. Enter the order number and choose Item overview . You can call up the change functions described below on the item overview screen and in item data (see next point). Click on the desired item in the item overview or place the cursor on the item and choose Item data .
mySAP Media Customer Interaction Center (CIC)	Choose Logistics Media Sales and Distribution Periodical Sales and Distribution Sales Customer Interaction Center Front Office. Identify the business partner, if applicable. Open the list of orders for the business partner. In the context menu for the order (click on the order with the right mouse button), choose Change order. The header data on the order is displayed. Choose Item overview . Note You can call up the change functions described below on the item overview screen and in item data (see next point). End of the note. Click on the desired item in the item overview or place the cursor on the item and choose Item data .
Central access	Choose Logistics Media Sales and Distribution Periodical Sales and Distribution Sales Order Central Access Edit . Find the orders for the business partner. Click on the item number of the desired item in the order overview or place the cursor on the item and choose Item data .

The item data screen appears.

Edit the item data according to the following decision table:

Object or purpose of change

Activity

Data not relevant to shipping or billing, e.g. purchase reason, bank details, payment card

Change the item data on the relevant tab page.

Data relevant to shipping or billing, e.g. delivery type, publication, edition, payment method, price basis

(Backdated changes to billing arrangements are not possible for WBZ subscriptions.)
