Creating a Change of Publication

Use

You want to change the publication in an order item. Instead of the previous publication, a new publication is to be delivered from the requested start of delivery.

Procedure

  1. Select the item in the item overview or call up the item data on the item to be changed.

  2. See Changing Subscription Orders and Changing Third-Party Delivery Orders .

  3. Choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Change functions Next navigation step Change publication. End of the navigation path

  4. The system displays the Item: Change of Publication dialog box.

  5. Define the end of delivery of the previous publication by specifying the following:

  • Delivery end reason

  • Actual delivery end

  1. Define the start of delivery of the new publication by specifying the following:

  • Publication

  • Valid-from date

  • Purchase reason

  • Sales source

  • Sales promotion

  1. Confirm the data on the change of publication.

  2. Save the changed order.

Result

The item with the "old" publication is terminated. The system has created a new item for the "new" publication. The delivery and invoice addresses have been copied from the old item into the new one. If commission recalculation was specified, the sales support data has been copied into the new item.
