Creating Unlimited Changes You want to record a change to
delivery viability data
(e.g. edition, delivery viability set), to the
delivery address
or to the
billing data
on a subscription item from a certain date.
You need to make an unlimited change when changing item data that affects shipping or billing; the unlimited change is therefore not required for data on reporting or data on the bank connection or the payment card.
Note
You can also create an unlimited change if its validity period already contains a limited change to the item (e.g. a suspension). In this case, the limited change is automatically assigned a new reference to the unlimited change. If the period of the existing limited change covers both the unlimited change and the previous item, the limited change (e.g. suspension) must first be split into two periods, one before and one after the unlimited change.
Select the item in the item overview or call up the item data on the item to be changed.
See Changing Subscription Orders and Changing Third-Party Delivery Orders .
Choose
Unlimited change
or
The maintenance screen for the change item appears. The publication and the sales source (only in the case of subscriptions) cannot be changed.
Make the required changes.
The change item cannot overlap with another unlimited change or with a limited change.
Save the changed order.
The system closes the original item and copies the changed data into a new item with a valid-from date that follows on directly from the valid-to date of the previous item.
Note
Since unlimited changes to an item follow on directly from one another, you can use the
Previous item
and
Next item
functions to scroll through the unlimited changes in chronological order.
