Converting Trial Items to Standard Items

Prerequisites

The sold-to party of a trial subscription requests that his subscription continue as a normal one when the trial subscription expires. To reproduce this change, you convert the trial subscription to a standard subscription item.

Issues must be created for the subsequent period.

Procedure

  1. Select the item in the item overview or call up the item data on the item to be changed.

  2. See Changing Subscription Orders and Changing Third-Party Delivery Orders .

  3. Choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Copy functions Next navigation step Convert trial item. End of the navigation path

The system creates a standard item based on the trial item and makes the following changes to it:

  • Removes validity limit (new valid-from date directly after the end of the validity period of the trial item)

  • Resets the sales price (pricing must be performed again)

  1. Choose a campaign framework in the dialog box displayed and confirm your entry.

  2. Edit the data as required.

  3. Save the changed order.

Result

The subscription is continued at normal conditions once the period of the trial subscription is past.
