Safe Bag Packing

The Safe Bag Packing App allows you to prepare the money from tender pickups and drawer accounts for cash removal. The packed safe bag is kept in the safe until it is finally picked up.

Procedure

To pack a safe bag, proceed as follows:

  1. Start the app as described in the User Guide of the respective application. You will see the mask to select the safe. If only one safe exists, the mask is skipped.

  2. After confirming the selected safe with Accept, the packed but not yet collected safe bags are displayed in a list:

    Note:
    Use the filter icon Filter to filter and sort the safe bags by different categories.

    To display detailed information on a packed safe bag, select the corresponding safe bag entry from the list.

  3. Use the New button to start packing a new safe bag for the selected safe.

    The dialog for entering the safe bag data is displayed:

  4. Enter the following data:
    • Safe bag no.
    • Checking counter (optional)
    • Tender
  5. Confirm your entries with Accept.

    If the app configuration requires that safe bag numbers are unique in the system, the entered number is checked for uniqueness.

    If the check is successfully completed, the dialog for entering the safe bag amount is displayed.

  6. Enter the desired amount. The Denomination button allows you to also record denominations for the value you have entered.
  7. After you have entered the monetary values, confirm your entries with Save.

    The app checks if the following conditions are met:

    The safe balance must be at least equal to the entered safe bag amount.

    If a maximum permitted amount is configured for safe bags, the entered safe bag amount is not allowed to exceed this value.

  8. If the conditions are met, the minimum safe amount and/or maximum safe amount is checked too:
    • If a minimum amount is configured for the safe, a check is performed to determine whether the safe amount falls below the configured value.
    • If a maximum amount is configured for the safe, a check is performed to determine whether the safe amount exceeds the configured value.

    If the safe amount is not within the defined limits, a warning is displayed.

  9. The safe bag is created in the system. A report on safe bag packing is displayed.
  10. To print the report, press Print. To save the report as a PDF file, press Save.
  11. Press Done to exit the view.
