Checks for Status Change

Use

You can define prerequisites for each status change that can occur for a force element, its material and personnel categories, and logistical requirements. The system checks these prerequisites when the relevant status is changed.

A prerequisite for a status change can be the existence of a particular infotype, attribute, or assignment, for example.

If one or more prerequisites are not met, the system issues error, warning, or information messages accordingly.

Certain predefined checks are shipped with the standard system. You can also define your own checks.

Prerequisites

You are familiar with the checks provided. They are stored in table /ISDFPS/CSTACHG (view /ISDFPS/VSTACHG ). This table also contains further information about the check modules.

The status changes possible here correspond to those of the measure areas ; the objects and assignments concerned correspond to the measure subareas of the organizational measure .

The system still runs the checks even if you have deactivated the organizational measure functions.
