Support for Cross-Plant Reorganization The system should provide support for plant changes during reorganization.
You can use the transaction codes /ISDFPS/LSP1 and /ISDFPS/START_CPR to perform a cross-plant reorganization.
During a reorganization, the system checks whether a plant change could be necessary for stocks or provisions.
If the plant does need to be changed, the system generates a work item that informs the person responsible about the change of plant. When processing this work item, the person responsible can decide whether to change the stock or provisions plant of the force element to the plant of the new higher-level force element.
If the person responsible decides to change the plant, the next step is to enter the new storage locations.
The changes can be made as an individual operation for an individual force element or for a force element including other lower-level force elements.
For more information about the workflow, see Plant Change for Reorganization .
The following functions are also available:
If you perform storage location mapping during a cross-plant reorganization, the system issues a warning message if storage locations with the same name that are not yet assigned to a force element already exist in the new plant. The entries for these storage locations are displayed as selected in the mapping table. You can decide whether to use the storage locations that already exist in the new plant for the cross-plant reorganization.
A detailed application log is available for each cross-plant reorganization. Each notification that is written to the application log is assigned to the object that was being processed when the notification appeared. It is also possible to jump from the application log to the display transaction of the relevant object.
During a cross-plant reorganization, the system edits purchasing documents with a release strategy. Performed releases for purchase requisitions and purchase orders are thus canceled.
You can perform a cross-plant reorganization for a force element that is active in a decentralized system.
A cross-plant reorganization is also possible without a structure change.
The reorganization process is divided into the following phases:
Where appropriate, assignment of new suppliers , since old supply relationships have expired
Where appropriate, assignment of new consumers , since old supply relationships have expired
Analysis and processing of documents that are still to be processed, from the perspective of the consumer and of the supplier
Creation of storage locations and warehouse structures in the new plant
Creation of master data in the new plant. The old plant is used as a reference.
Reassignment of the storage locations of the new plant and of the plant itself to the MRP area of the force element to be reorganized
Transfer posting of stocks to the new plant and reassignment of the MRP area to the new plant
Activation of the definitive supply relationships.
Postprocessing and discontinuation of the activities in the old plant:
Satisfaction of remaining requirements and outbound delivery of remaining stocks from the old plant
Automatic transfer posting of receipts from the old to the new plant, using a background job
While the reorganization is being activated, the system copies the material master data from the old plant and storage locations to the new plant and storage locations.
On the key date of the validity of the lower-level relationship, jobs are scheduled and the following tasks are performed:
The receiving storage location and plant are changed in open stock transport requisitions and orders (job name: EBELN_ CHG _*). The system calls the report /ISDFPS/EBELN_CHANGE_WERKS_LGO.
The material master data is copied from the previous plant and MRP area/storage location to the new plant and MRP area/storage location (job name: MAT _ COPY _*). The system calls the report /ISDFPS/MATMAS_ COPY _PLANT_CHAN.
Stocks are transferred from the old plant/storage location to the new plant/storage location.
If the materials are serialized parts, and if a maintenance plant is entered in the corresponding equipment master record, the old maintenance plant is replaced with the new one, provided the equipment has not been installed (periodically, since remaining successive goods receipts for stock transport orders may be received in the old plant) (job name: MAT _ MOVE _*). The system calls report /ISDFPS/STOCK_CHANGE_WERKS_LGO.
The plants and storage locations in the force elements and associated MRP area are changed (job name: SEs_CHGE_*)
A deletion indicator is entered in the old storage locations in the storage location view of the material master (job name: MAT _ DEL _*). The system calls report /ISDFPS/MATMAS_LOVM_PLANT_CHAN.
In addition, a job for planning in detail the periodic transfer posting job is scheduled automatically at the same time (job name: EBELN_ CHK _*). This job is called by the report /ISDFPS/CHECK_CHANGE_WORKS.
The jobs generate a log that you can check using the
Analyze Application Log
application (transaction SLG 1).
If the log lists errors, fix the causes of the errors and reschedule the relevant jobs (with the exception of the job MAT _ MOVE _*, since this job runs periodically anyway).
The
Cross-Plant Reorganization
(transaction code /ISDFPS/START_CPR) transaction is available for performing a cross-plant reorganization. In this transaction, you can choose

The
BAdI: Adjust Cross-Plant Reorganization
(/ISDFPS/BADI_CROSSPLANTREORG) Business Add-In is used to include additional materials in the list of the materials to be copied for the cross-plant reorganization. During the cross-plant reorganization this material master data is copied from the old to the new plant/storage location combination.
