Navigation Area
In the left-hand screen area, the navigation area, the system displays the hierarchy of a nursing plan. In principle, each item of this hierarchy is a nursing plan entry (entry). There are the following types of entries:
Nursing Plan
A nursing plan contains the header data of the hierarchy of a nursing plan and the basic catalog set. It only has subordinate entries.
Nursing Plan Block Group (block group)
A block group can result from a standard nursing plan profile or from a free text. Hierarchically it is directly below the nursing plan.

Nursing Plan Block (Block)
A block can result from a standard nursing plan or from a free text. Hierarchically it is directly below the nursing plan or below a block group.

Nursing Plan Item (Item)
An item can result from a basic catalog item or from a free text. Hierarchically it is below a block.

Property of Nursing Plan Item (Property)
A property can result from a basic catalog item or from a free text. Hierarchically it is below an item.

Connection of a Nursing Plan Item (Connection)
The connection of a nursing plan item results from the connection of two items. Hierarchically it is below an item.
Each of these entries has an icon and a name which the system administrator allocated in the master data for the catalog to which the entry belongs.
Example
The system administrator allocates, for example, the following icons:
in the master data of the basic catalogs the icons for items
in the master data of the basic catalog sets the icons for the basic catalog sets
If you choose an entry, the system overwrites this icon for the time of choosing with the light bulb icon, to highlight the selected entry.
The system maps all functions which concern a nursing plan as pushbuttons, drop-down menus or context menus in the navigation area. You can compile the functions which you require from the function selection of the function variant in the user-specific presettings. See Maintaining User-Specific Presettings
Multiple selection is available for the following functions in the navigation area:
If you choose several entries and call the context menu, only the above mentioned functions can be called in this.
Note
If one selected entry does not support one of the above mentioned functions or is already terminated or canceled, you cannot execute these functions for any of the selected entries.
If one of the selected entries is already suspended, you can only terminate or cancel this entry.

You can use this function to move blocks both within a block group and also into another block group. You can also execute this function using Drag & Drop. |

Select a block in the navigation area and choose In the subsequent dialog box select the item before which the system should insert the item selected in the navigation area. If you select an item of another basic catalog category or a block in the dialog box, the system will place the item selected in the navigation area in the last position of your basic catalog category within the corresponding block. Nursing plans can be printed for documentational purposes and this represents a legal requirement. Various information must be included in the printout, for example, creation user and time, change user and time, cancellation user and time, all additional information entered for each entry. You add the paper printout to the patient record. |

Note that the system only moves items, properties and connections within the block. The system will take into account the structure defined by the valid set. The system only moves blocks within a block group. You can also execute this function using Drag & Drop. |
