You use this function to control that the system does not generate nursing services during the suspension period for an item of the “nursing procedure” basic catalog category when updating.

Caution Caution

Note that suspensions are only available for an inpatient nursing plan.

You can no longer process the following suspensions:

  • Suspensions which have already ended

  • Suspensions with a start or end time which is in the past

Features

The following functions are available on the Suspensions tab page:

  • Create Suspension

    1. You choose Create Suspension (Create Suspension).

    2. In the subsequent dialog box you enter the necessary suspension data such as, for example, the start date and end date and choose Continue.

      The system sets the status of the selected item to “Suspended” and cancels all nursing services for this item which exist during the period of suspension.

      Note Note

      If the organizational unit-related parameter (OU-parameter) N1CANPAU exists, the system presets the cancellation reason with this value. If the OU parameter does not exist, you must enter the cancellation reason in a dialog box.

  • Change Suspension

    1. You select a suspension and choose Change Susupension (Change Susupension).

    2. In the subsequent dialog box you change the desired suspension data such as, for example, the start date and end date and choose Continue.

      The system changes all nursing services which exist for the selected item during suspension period.

  • End/Cancel Suspension

    You select a suspension and choose End/Cancel Suspension (End/Cancel Suspension).

    The following differing processing will result depending on the start and end times of the suspension:

    • If the start and end time are both in the future, you can cancel the suspension.

      You confirm the cancellation in the subsequent dialog box.

      For the suspension period the system will generation new nursing services for the selected item, taking into account the update period and the cycles.

    • If the start time is in the past and the end time is in the future, you can end the suspension.

      You confirm the end of the suspension by clicking Continue in the subsequent dialog box.

      For the suspension period the system will generate new nursing services for the selected item, taking into account the system time, the update period and the cycles.
