Creating a Property
You can use this function to insert properties for items in a nursing plan. The valid set controls which properties you may assign to the item at a lower level.
You can create properties for an item in a nursing plan in the following ways:
You can transfer a property from the property catalogs which are assigned to the main catalog of the item you selected in the basic catalog set in use.
You can transfer a property directly from the property catalogs which you have defined as an assigned property in the main catalog of the item you selected.
If the organizational unit-related parameter (OU parameter) N1PFFRTXT is set, you can manually enter a property. This means you can name the property with a free text.
Note
If you have selected an item of the “nursing procedure” basic catalog category, the system transfers the free text of the property to all nursing services resulting from this item which do not have the “manual” indicator. If you change the free text the system will adapt this in all future planned nursing services accordingly.
To create properties for an item in a nursing plan, proceed as follows:
Select an item in the navigation area.
In the navigation area choose
(Create Property
) or the Properties
tab page in the detail area.
In the navigation area the system displays the properties catalogs which are assigned to main catalog of the item you selected in the basic catalog set, as a drop-down menu or in the detail area as tab pages.
In the navigation area select the desired property catalog in the drop-down menu or, in the detail area select the tab page with the desired property catalog. In the detail area choose also
(Create Property
).
In the subsequent drop-down menu the system directly displays the properties of the property catalog which you defined as assigned properties in the main catalog of the item you selected. You can use the “Other…” entry to branch to the selection help.
In the subsequent selection help choose the property of the property catalog which you wish to assign to the item you selected with Continue
.
Note
If the OU parameter N1PFFRTXT
is set, the system also displays the Create Free Text Property
node at the end of the selection help. Choose this node. In the subsequent dialog box enter the desired name for the property and choose Continue
. The system inserts a property within the node in the selection help and flags this as chosen.
