Work With Allocation Favorites
You can save allocations as favorites and reuse them so you do not have to create them each time.
Create a favorite
To create an allocation favorite:
Open the invoice that has the allocations that you want to use as a favorite.
Click Distribute > Distribute Selected Items. The Distribute Selected Items window appears.
Click Add to Favorites. The Add to Favorites window appears.
Enter a name for the allocation favorite and click Save. The system adds the allocation to your favorites, which you can see if you click Favorites.
Use a favorite
To use an allocation favorite:
Open the invoice for which you want to use the allocation favorite.
Select the desired itemizations.
Click Distribute > Distribute Selected Items. The Distribute Selected Items window appears.
Click Favorites.
Click the favorite allocation that you would like to use. The selected itemizations are allocated as per the favorite.
Remove a favorite
Over time, allocation favorites will become incorrect or obsolete.
To remove favorite allocations:
Access the favorite as described above in Use a favorite.
Click the red X icon next to the name in the Favorites list.
Edit/Replace a favorite
You cannot edit a favorite but you can replace it.
To replace favorite allocations:
Open an invoice that has the desired allocation or allocate an invoice.
Create a favorite as described above, except when naming the favorite, use the existing name. The system will confirm that you want to overwrite the existing favorite.
