Transaction Audit

This function provides an overview of the sales transactions and sales exceptions for audit purposes. A special function mode is defined per parameter. There are two function modes.

"SUMMARY" Mode

The Transaction Audit function in "SUMMARY" mode provides an overview of the sales transactions and sales exceptions for audit purposes summarized according to Audit Type.

Audit Type Overview

The function can be started from GK Employee Hub or POS. User authentication and rights management is handled by the host application. Location of the function: Reports and Search.

The function is started in the Audit Type Overview view. The GUI is started with a default filter set:

Transaction Audit Types are loaded for the current date automatically after the function is started. The result is sorted by COUNT in descending order.

If the user presses the Print button, the Transaction Audit Summary Reportis printed.

List of Receipts for Selected Audit Type

After selecting a transaction type in the Audit Type Overview, the mask titled Audit Type - <selected audit type> is opened with a list of receipts for the selected audit type.

The filter bar is still there, so it is possible to filter the displayed receipts. Available filters:

Note:
Filtering according to the Receipt Total is supported only for the following transaction types:
  • Pay-in/Pay-out
  • Sales Receipt
Note:
The filter criteria entered in the Audit Type Overview mask are taken over to the Audit Type - <selected audit type> mask and they are disabled so that the user cannot change them.

Resetting the filter in the Audit Type mask does not reset these disabled criteria. Only newly added criteria are reset.

The criteria entered in the Audit Type mask are not taken over to the Audit Type Overview mask.

Audit Type Overview

The transactions are sorted in descending order by date/time by default. The sort order can be toggled between descending and ascending order using the sorting button.

If the user presses the Print button, the Report of receipts for selected audit type is printed.

Receipt Detail

After the transaction type is selected in the Transaction List, Transaction Detail is opened. It is possible to navigate only in the filtered list of transactions using the "Browse Results" arrows under the mask header.

This view shows the transaction details and is separated into a header showing information about the transaction while the receipt preview is shown below.

"DAILY" Mode

The Transaction Audit function in "DAILY" mode provides an overview of the sales transactions and sales exceptions for audit purposes.

Filtering according to the Receipt Total is supported only for the following transaction types:
