eMailbon

Note:

The POS Client itself is not able to send emails. After the email address is entered, the POS Client provides the email address exclusively for further processing via an external email server. This functionality is implemented by the eMailBon service, but this is not part of the POS Client and is therefore not covered by this documentation.

Note:

The validity of a PDF as a receipt may vary from state to state and from country to country. Therefore, check with the relevant authorities about the acceptance of PDF receipts before using eMailbon. Please note that, according to legal requirements, a paper printout must always be possible.

The eMailbon function allows digital receipts to be created instead of printing them on paper.

To use eMailbon, customers have to download the eMailBon app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store and enter their email address. The app then generates a barcode for the entered email address.

To retrieve the customer's email address from the eMailBon app, simply scan this barcode.
