Sales Restrictions
An item may be subject to different sales restrictions (age restriction, recall campaign, etc.). This function checks whether sales restrictions exist for the entered item, and whether sale is possible or impossible in the given case. The operator is prompted to enter whether the corresponding condition applies or not.

| OK | Confirm that the requested condition applies. In this case, you can proceed with item entry. |
Salesperson Age Restrictions
In the United States, some states do not allow cashiers who are too young to sell alcohol (for example, the cashier is 16 years old but cashiers must be 21 or older to sell alcohol).
Therefore, the POS Client can be configured to check the age of the cashier when an item is registered.
If the cashier does not meet the requirements, the sale of the item must be verified and approved by an authorized salesperson.
