Assign Serial Numbers

It is possible that the cashier assigns a serial number to an item on the receipt. This function is used, for example, if a serial number is available for a high-value item and should be included on the receipt.

This allows you to clearly identify this item in the case of a subsequent goods return.

To assign a serial number, proceed as follows:

• Select an item in the receipt preview window by tapping on it, or scan the item.
• Select the function Serial Number.

  If applicable, you are prompted to enter the serial number.

• Enter the serial number.
