The Patient Appointments MED offers an overview of the appointments and the relevant patient information.

Caution Caution

Patient Appointments MED is only available if you use the clinical system (i.s.h.med) and does not correspond to the Patient Appointments in SAP Patient Management (IS-H). Patient Appointments in SAP Patient Management does not contain data from i.s.h.med, for example, services for which the appointment is planned, medical texts, etc..

Patient Appointments MED offers a selection of information from i.s.h.med and can be configured for various work scenarios.

You can use Patient Appointments MED for information purposes and for planning processes in appointment management.

Patient Appointments MED displays all of a patient’s appointments, regardless of their type or processing status. Appointments can have the following properties and processing statuses:

  • Appointments for outpatient visits

  • Appointments for inpatient admissions

  • Appointments for services to be performed at a service facility

  • Appointments can be planned or already have taken place.

Prerequisites

The system administration must configure Patient Appointments MED.

Features

Patient Appointments MED is a variant of the patient organizer. It is displayed as a dialog box.

This therefore offers the flexibility and processing functionality of the patient organizer, for example:

  • Various views of the patients appointments using aspects

    • Overview of planned patient appointments in the future

    • Overview of patient appointments which are planned or have already taken place.

      In this aspect, the appointment calendar will also display outpatient clinic folder entries to inform you of the appointment situation and the treatment progress.

      Note Note

      These aspects are available as pushbuttons in the pushbutton toolbar in the lowest row of the appointment calendar. The user can toggle between aspects using the aspects.

      The system administration can also define other aspects.
