Patient Appointments MED - Set Up Functions
The system administrator uses these functions to set up Patient Appointments MED. Patient Appointments MED is a mode of the patient organizer.
The following aspects are available for the Patient Appointments MED as standard:
Planned Appointments (SAP10)
Lists all of a patient's appointments which have not yet taken place.
All Appointments (SAP11)
Lists all appointments/movements for a patient.
Note
The aspects use the Appointments and Movements Object Type.
You can define further customer-specific aspects.
Parallel to the Patient Appointments MED the Patient Appointment Calendar is available from SAP Patient Management (IS-H).
You can make both appointment calendars available as functions for the user in views of the following view types in the clinical work station:
Outpatient Clinic/Service Facility

Recommendation
If you only offer the Patient Appointments MED as a function in the views of the clinical work station, you can rename this in your “Patient Appointment Calendar“ function variant.
The set up functions correspond to those of the patient organizer.
See Patient Organizer – Set Up Functions
However, for the Patient Appointments MED only specific aspects with optional selection behavior are available, i.e. when you call the appointment calendar the system will restrict to certain aspects.
Die Aspekte für den Terminkalender müssen Sie im Einführungsleitfaden
unter eintragen (Tabelle NWPLACE_DTM_PO
).
Note
You determine the aspects which a specific user or role should receive when calling Patient Appointments MED. The system presets the Mode
field with the value Patient Appointment Calendar
. You cannot change this value.
When called, the appointment calendar will display the aspect with the highest priority as standard.
Note
You use the patient organizer authorizations for Patient Appointments MED. No further authorizations are required.
