Procedure

To display a patient’s appointment calendar for which an appointment exists in the relevant view of the clinical work station, you should proceed as follows:

  1. Select one or more patients and then select Patient Appointments MED (Patient Appointments MED).

You access the Patient Appointment Calendar dialog box.

If you do not select a patient, you will first access the patient search.

    Note Note

Following the search, the system will display the patient appointments MED for the patients found. As an option, you can also use the user parameter N1PASL to determine that you receive the list of found patients following the patient search. From this patient list you select the desired patient for whom you wish to view the appointment calendar.

You can also call the appointment calendar for patients with provisional patient master data. You should note that, for patients with provisional patient master data, only plannable objects can be created, e.g. appointments and clinical orders.

    End of the note.
  2. You use the Planned Appointments or All Appointments/Movements pushbuttons (aspects), in order to display only the planned appointments or all appointments and movements.

  3. In the patient appointment calendar you can, for example:

    • Change (Change)

You can change the object (e.g. appointment, visit, admission).

    • Display (Display)

You can view the object (e.g. appointment, visit, admission).

    • Plan appointments (Plan appointments)

    • Cancel appointments (Cancel appointments)

You select the corresponding function using the pushbutton.

  4. The following hotspots are also available in the appointment calendar:

    • You use the hotspot on the patient to access the patient master data. You can edit the patient master data.

    • You use the hotspot on an appointment (appointment) to access appointment maintenance.

    • You use the hotspot on a visit (visit) to access the visit.

    • You use the hotspot on an admission movement (admission movement) to edit the admission or admission and visit (Register Patient).
