Basic Surgery Data
You must enter the following basic surgery data to be able to install the surgery system:
Set the parameters required by the surgery system using the customization function
Configure the catalogs used by the surgery system, such as services, materials, diagnoses and input help catalogs
If you use the surgery component in the clinical system, you must flag the organizational units (OUs) of the surgery area as surgery-relevant, (Type of Organizational Unit indicator), as otherwise you cannot use the functionality of the surgery component for these OUs. See Organizational Unit
You can also adapt the surgery system to suit the processes in your institution using parameterizable documentation and/or the Surgeries view type.
