Function documentationSurgery System Authorizations

The authorization concept of the surgery system is based on a single authorization for the editing functions and the various surgery documents. The authorization concept of the parameterizable documentation also has an effect on these documents.

Authorizations for Surgery Planning and Surgery Scheduling

You use the following authorizations to stipulate that in surgery planning and surgery scheduling a planning employee can only view and plan the areas and resources which are within his or her area of responsibility:

  • Authorization N_WPLACE for the worklist with the orders to be planned. The system checks for this authorization object in the following view types:

    • Surgeries

    • Appointment Planning

    • Surgery Scheduling

  • Authorization N_AMB_DSP for the planning area (in which all aleady planned appointments and any process flows are displayed)

    • In the Surgeries view type the system checks, among others, the Display Appointment activity.

If the selection variant contains selected planning objects for which the user has no display authorization, the system removes these planning objects from the display. Here the system checks the activity "ACTVT = 03" (Display Appointment).

    • The Appointment Planning and Surgery Scheduling view types use the planning grid that is checked by the authorization N_AMB_DSP. You can hide planning objects, for which no display authorization exists, in these view types using the display variants.

Authorization for Start Surgery

You can use authorization N_OP_BEG to control which users may set surgeries to started.

This authorization also applies to the Surgery Started function, which the user can execute, for example, in views of the Surgeries view type, in the surgery monitor and in the Surgery work station.

Authorization for Calling Surgery Monitor

You can use authorization object N_OP_MON to control which users may call the surgery monitor.

Authorization for Creating Secondary Surgeries

You use the authorization object N_OP_NEBEN to control which users may create secondary surgeries. The system checks this authorization when creating secondary surgeries from the surgery monitor and the Surgery work station.

Authorizations for Release and Subsequent Entry of Surgery Times

Authorization object N_2ZTPKT1 supplements authorization object N_2ZTPKT with the Release and Subsequent Entry authorizations. A prerequisite for this authorization is the authorization to change surgery times, granted by the authorization object N_2ZTPKT.

Unlike the authorization object N_2ZTPKT, which gives authorization to change and display, the authorization to release and make subsequent entries is global. A restriction is only possible in relation to area.

If there is no release authorization, the Release function is not available to you in surgery time editing.

Authorization for subsequent entry should only be given in exceptional cases. It is useful only if you work with release authorization in your institution.

Surgical Main Documentation - Procedure and Diagnosis Entry

For the surgical main documentation, you use an authorization check, which checks at the start whether the user may display or change the document category $CHIRDOKU.

The system will check the authorization object N_2MEDOKAuthorization for Medical Documents with the attributes:

  • Activity

  • ID of the document category = $CHIRDOKU

  • Documenting OU

Document status, institution, nursing OU and employee are not checked.

The system also checks the authorization from the diagnosis editing function. If there is no authorization for maintaining diagnoses and diagnosis long texts for the case, the user can only display the surgical documentation.

Additional Authorizations for Surgery Work Station

The Surgery work station is a variant of the documentation work station. Therefore users also require authorizations for the following authorization objects of the documentation work station, in addition to this concerning surgeries for the Surgery work station:
