Configure a Shared Workspace

Configuring a shared workspace helps share a single workspace with multiple users.

Prerequisites

You have logged in to the SAP Data Hub cockpit with the ADMIN user.

Context

In the SAP Data Hub cockpit, administrators can configure a shared workspace by creating new users and assigning roles for each user in the shared workspace. Depending on the roles, users can have either full access or restricted access to the workspace.

Procedure

  1. From the SAP Data Hub cockpit menu, choose Start of the navigation pathSettings Next navigation step Workspace ConfigurationEnd of the navigation path.
  2. Add users and assign roles.
    1. In the editor toolbar, choose + (Add User).
    2. In the Add User dialog box, provide the user name.
    3. In the Role dropdown list, select the required role.
      The tool supports Administrator, Collaborator, and Viewer roles for users in shared workspace.
    4. Select Add.
