Import metadata from your systems and publish it in the Metadata Catalog.
Procedure

Select the folder where you want to place the metadata. Click the Import icon.

Choose the connection and select the folder that contains the metadata that you
want to publish.
- To publish a single file, click the - - link next
to the file name. Choose Yes to set the
filter.
- To publish the contents of a folder, click the -
- link next to the folder name. Choose one of these
options.

| Single Level |
Publishes only those files within the first level of the folder;
does not include the contents of subfolders.

| Recursively |
Publishes the contents of the folder and all of the contents of the
subfolders.

| Custom |
Enter a filter to choose some of the files within the folder or subfolders. For
example, if you want to publish a folder and the subfolders, enter
**. If you want to publish all CSV files in a
folder and the subfolders, enter **/*.csv. If you
want to publish all CSV is the SALES folder and subfolders, enter
SALES/**/*.csv. |

(Optional). Click Add Filter to enter an expression for files that you want to publish.
Begin the filter with a forward slash, for example,
/customer1/sales/north.csv. Enter an asterisk at the
end of a path if you want to publish the contents of the folder, for example,
/customer1/sales/*

Click Add to begin publishing.
Repeat these steps to add more files for publishing.
