Use the SAP Data Hub cockpit to monitor the status of configurations created in an SAP
Landscape Transformation Replication Server system. The configurations define the parameters
that the SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server uses to replicate data from a
source system to a target system.
Prerequisites
You have an SAP LT Replication Server system.
You have created one or more configurations in the SAP LT Replication Server
system.
You have created at least one system in SAP Data Hub with a connection (connection type: SLT
REST API) to an SAP LT Replication Server system (system type: SAP LT
Replication Server).
Context
The SAP Data Hub cockpit provides a monitoring dashboard to monitor data replication and
the status of configurations in an SAP LT Replication Server system. The information
that the dashboard provides include the following:
A graphical representation (pie chart) that provides an overview of the status
of all SAP LT Replication Server configurations. Each sector in the chart
represents the state of the configuration. The possible configuration states are
Running, Warning, Error, and Not Active.
List view of all configurations. In addition, for each configuration, the tool
displays the configuration state, scenario, source system, target system, and
the master job status.
Procedure
Start the SAP Data Hub cockpit in a Web browser.
You can access the monitoring dashboard in the Overview page of the
cockpit.
In the Service KPIs section, select the SAP LT
Replication Server tile.
The tool opens the SAP LT Replication Server monitoring dashboard. By default, it displays
a summary of all configurations created in the SAP LT Replication Server systems
to which you established a connection. The summary that the tool provides
includes information on the status of the configurations.
View configurations based on the configuration state.
In the Configuration Summary pie chart, each sector represents a
configuration state. The possible configuration states are Error, Warning,
Running, and Not Active.
Select the required sector that represents a particular state.
The tool filters the results based on the state and displays only
those configurations that belong to the selected state in the list view.
If you want to clear the filters applied on the configurations, in the dashboard header
pane, choose (Clear All
Filters).
Activate or deactivate configurations.
Depending on the current state of a configuration, you can activate or
deactivate it from the monitoring dashboard.
If you want to activate a nonactive SAP LT Replication Server
configuration, select it in the list view and choose
Activate.
If you want to deactivate the configuration, select it in the list view
and choose Deactivate.
You can deactivate only if the SAP LT Replication Server configuration
state is either Running, Error, or Warning.
View connection specific SAP LT Replication Server configuration details.
If you have more than one connection to an SAP LT Replication Server system, in the left
pane, the tool displays all those connections. You can view details of
configurations that are only specific to a particular connection.
In the left pane, select the required connection.
In the dashboard, the tool displays information of only those
configurations that belong to the selected connection.
(Optional) Apply filters for displaying the configurations in the dashboard.
You can filter the list of configurations that the tool must display based on connections,
configurations, scenario, or configuration status.
In the dashboard header pane, choose Filters.
In the Connection value help list, select the
required connection.
Define the required filter conditions and choose Go.
View information for individual tables.
For each connection, you can view the source table names for replication and
the status information for these tables. The tool also provides statistical
information for individual tables. For example, the current action for a table,
number of records inserted, deleted or updated, latency information, and
more.
In the list of SAP LT Replication Server configuration displayed,
select a configuration to view more details for that
configuration.
The tool opens a Configuration Details
dashboard, where you can monitor the status of individual tables. In
this dashboard, the Table Summary pie chart
provides information on the table state and the Data Transfer
Details chart provides more information on the data
replicated for a selected table in that particular hour.
