
To change the quality status of a proposal, you must create the proposal again and assign the required quality status.
You can change the quality status of application standards, system standards, and abbreviations. Exceptions do not have a quality status.
You may need to change the quality status of a proposal in the following situations:
You have checked proposals with a low quality status, and want to increase the quality status so that they can be automatically distributed.
You decide that the system standard Save for the source text Sichern should be distributed in future. At this time, distribution is only active for proposals with quality status A . Save has quality status S . Change the quality status of Save from S to A .
You want to assign a lower quality status to a proposal to ensure that it is not automatically distributed.

Access the proposal pool from the short text editor, or by using transaction SLPP. For more information on how to access the proposal pool, see Accessing the Proposal Pool .
Ensure that the proposal whose quality status you want to change is highlighted at the top of the proposal pool next to the
icon.
If you accessed the proposal pool from the short text editor, you see the text that you entered in the translation line.
If you accessed the proposal pool using transaction SLPP, you see the text that you entered in the text field in the Target group box.
You can change the text that is highlighted at the top of the proposal pool by choosing
.
In the proposal pool, choose
for the type of proposal whose quality status you want to change. To change the quality status of an abbreviation, choose
next to the full text of the abbreviation.

The Choose Status dialog box appears. Double-click the quality status you want to assign.
Your translator profile determines which quality statuses you are authorized to assign. For more information on the authorizations that you require for assigning quality statuses, see Translator Profiles .
To change the quality status of a system standard, you can also use the Status A , Status S , Status B , and Status X pushbuttons.
The system assigns the required quality status to the proposal. In the technical details for the proposal, the system displays your user as the person who last changed it. For more information on how to display technical details for a proposal, see Displaying Details for a Proposal .
