You maintain the proposal pool to reduce the manual translation workload in the future. You can access the proposal pool from the short text editor, or by using transaction SLPP. Different editing options are available to you, depending on how you access the proposal pool. For more information on how to access the proposal pool, see Accessing the Proposal Pool .
You can edit the proposal pool as follows:
Create translations as proposals
For more information, see Creating Proposals in the Proposal Pool .
Create abbreviations or full texts for existing proposals.
For more information, see Creating Abbreviations and Full Translations .
Change proposals
It is not possible to change proposals in the proposal pool. If you need to change a proposal, you must delete it and then create a new one. For more information, see Changing Proposals in the Proposal Pool .
Delete proposals
For more information, see Deleting Proposals in the Proposal Pool .
Change the quality status of a proposal
To change the quality status of a proposal, you must create the proposal again and assign the correct quality status. For more information, see Changing the Quality Status of Proposals .
