Purpose
This process describes the import of sources, phrases, specification data, property trees, and report templates.

In an External Environment
The system from which the data originates (external environment) must be able to supply the data in the correct
character standard. The external environment can also be an SAP System.
To create the transfer file for importing data from a non-SAP external system, proceed as follows:
Determine the relevant table fields for each transfer file.

To exchange data between two SAP Systems, you must first export the data. The SAP System then creates the transfer file automatically. You can use this fie to import the data.
