Performing a Task with Comprehensive Resource Planning

Purpose

The maintenance planner selects a malfunction report from his worklist. This report contains the findings on pump vibrations caused by an unbalanced pump shaft.

The planner examines the maintenance tasks that have been carried out previously on the object. He then creates a maintenance order. The planner selects a suitable task list and checks both the availability of the required materials and the capacity of the associated work center.

The planner then analyzes the planned costs, releases the order and prints the shop papers.

The required material is taken from stock and the time worked on the job is confirmed. A technical report is entered, the total costs are analyzed. The order is then completed.
