Checking Material Availability of the Assigned Components 

Use

When you assigned the task list to the maintenance order, you assigned not only the operations contained in the task list, but also the material components. You now check the availability of these material components.

Procedure

  1. Use the following procedure to call the transaction:

    From the Maintenance Processing node, choose Order ® Change.

    Transaction Code

    IW32

    The system defaults your order number.

  3. Choose Operations.
  4. A material component is assigned to operation 0070. You can see this in the Components column.

  5. Select operation 0070.
  6. Choose Internal.
  7. Select the component W-1000.
  8. To check the availability of the material, choose .
  9. On the Confirmation Proposal screen, the system informs you whether the material will be available on the required date. The open quantity equals 1 and the confirmed quantity for the required date is also 1. The checked material is available when required.

  10. Choose ATP Quantities to display the general availability overview for the selected item.
  11. Choose .
  12. Choose Continue.
  13. Choose .
  14. The Change Maintenance Order <Number>: Operation Overview screen appears.

  15. Do not leave this screen.
