Void Layaway

Use this function to void items from a layaway order or to void the complete layaway order.

To void layaways, proceed as follows:

  • Display the layaway order you want to void as described in section Show Layaway.
  • In the mask with the layaway information, press Void.

  • Choose the items you want to void or press Select all to void all items of the layaway order.

    If a down payment exists for the layaway, the POS creates a negative down payment line item and proceeds to the payment screen.

  • Pay out the down payment.

Note:
Depending on the configuration, a penalty fee can be charged for voiding a layaway order.
