Apps via App Enablement

Apps are add-on programs called directly from the POS Client or via the Employee Hub.

Apps allow you to use functions other than the standard POS functionalities, e.g. customer-specific product recommendations or additional product information.

Further examples are apps for CO2-compensation or lottery providers. The app button labeling and the function of the app button depend on the type of app.

Apps are integrated via App Enablement and can be started either from Employee Hub or directly from the POS Client.

They can also be configured to start automatically at a specific point of a transaction.

For example: An app for CO2 compensation asks after clicking Total if the customer wants to add CO2 compensation. If yes, a calculated compensation fee is added to the transaction.
