Terminal Payment (EFT)
EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) payment, abbreviated as terminal payment or card payment, is a tender type of the POS.
Card-based tender types (credit card, EC card) are generally processed by external hardware (payment terminals, EFT terminals). The terminal payment may refer to the total amount of the receipt or part of it.
- To close a receipt using a terminal payment (card payment), press the button EFT.
The amount appears in the following view. The customer will carry out the payment on the terminal. The terminal messages are displayed on the POS as well.
If the card type used requires the customer's signature, an additional receipt will be printed for this purpose. A dialog is displayed on the POS for confirmation of the customer's signature.
EFT payment using the button Offline EFT
If communication between the terminal and the POS fails, EFT payments with cards like Amex, Visa, Diners, MasterCard or JBC can be handled in offline mode.
- To do so, press the button Offline EFT on the bottom menu bar.
- Then, press the corresponding button to use this card system for the payment process.
