Receipt Printing
Device Selection
It is configurable if the POS always prints the receipts on a fixed preselected printer or a device selection is displayed before each print.
If "Printer Selection" is configured, a list of all available printers is displayed during the payment process.
The displayed printers do not have to be initialized during POS start. It is possible to initialize the printer after selection.
- To initialize a printer, select it and press "OK".


Handling Receipt Printer Errors
In the event of printer errors (e.g. an open printer cover or missing paper), a notification is displayed.
This notification is shown during the payment process and whenever a receipt is printed (e.g. in the login/logout process, in the Gift Certificate Information).
The notification displays the error type and the printer name.

You have 3 options to continue with the current process:

Skip printing: The button finishes the transaction/process without printing a receipt. It is still possible to print the receipt later. Note:Due to country-specific regulations, it may be mandatory to print a receipt for a transaction. In this case, this function may be disabled by configuration.
- Retry: After fixing the cause of the error (e.g. by closing the cover or refilling paper), this button restarts the print on the same (previously failing) printer. If the problem with the printer is not resolved, the same printer error notification will be shown again when pressing the "retry" button.
- Select printer: To finish the transaction/process as fast as possible for a waiting customer, it is possible to select another working printer and print the receipt there.
