You use change requests to resolve issues that are analyzed and found to have a significant cost or schedule impact in the project.

Process

  1. You log an issue in the issue and change management screen (see Logging Issues).

  2. You indicate the urgency with which the issue must be processed (see Setting Priorities and Impact (Issue)).

  3. You create activities to manage the tasks required for processing the issue (see Creating Activities for Issues).

  4. You assign processors to the activities (see Assigning People to Activities).

  5. You document the issue by attaching local documents or documents from Document Management System (DMS) and linking to reference objects (see Attaching Documents and Linking to References (Issue)).

  6. You assign processors to the issue (see Assigning People to Issues).

  7. You schedule the activities (see Assigning Dates to Activities).

  8. You document the activities by attaching local documents and linking to reference objects (see Attaching Documents and Linking to References (Activity)).

  9. You create a change request referring to an issue (see Creating Change Requests (with References to Issues)).

  10. You indicate the urgency with which the change request must be processed (see Setting Priorities and Impact).

  18. You schedule the activities (see Assigning Dates to Activities).

  19. You document the activities by attaching local documents and linking to reference objects (see Attaching Documents and Linking to References (Activity)).
