Attaching Documents and Linking to References (Activity)
Project Issue and Change Management
allows you to document activities by:
Attaching local files relevant to the issue or change request
Linking to relevant URLs
Linking to related reference objects
Note
You can only add reference objects to proposed activities. The relevant reference objects must be defined in the Customizing activity Define Activity Templates
.
You cannot link documents from Document Management System
(DMS) to an activity.
Example
As a project manager, you can create a change request and break up the tasks into activities like getting quotes and creating a cost plan. For the activity related to creating the cost plan, you can attach documents that are relevant for processing the activity.
