Attaching Documents and Linking to References (Issue)
Issues are handled by multiple processors and therefore it is important that an issue is well-documented. Project Issue and Change Management
allows you to document issues by:
Attaching local files relevant to the issue
Linking to relevant URLs
Linking to related reference objects
Linking to documents from Document Management System (DMS)
Example
A site supervisor in a construction project logs an issue to report some defects in plumbing. He attaches photographs of the affected pipes, adds the URL of the project, links to a resolved issue (with a similar problem) so that the processors can look at how it was solved; and then finally links the issue to a DMS document of the architectural plan of the plumbing.
You have made the following settings under Customizing for Project Issue and Change Management
