Processing Products 
To access the functions shown in this table, go to the navigation bar, and choose Products, followed by the path.
In each of the respective tile sets, the Products tile displays an overview of the product.

Search for a product |

To display all the products available choose Search. A list of all the products appear on the Products List tile. From this list you can view the: · Details of the desired product by selecting the hyperlink in the Product No. column. This displays the Products/Details tile set. · Description of the product by selecting the hyperlink in the Description column. This displays the Products/Product Texts tile set. · Sales area details of the product by selecting the hyperlink in the Division column. This displays the Products/Sales Area tile set. |
Display details on a product |

Copy products |

You can create a copy of an existing product and add appropriate details. Such a product can only be saved as a competitive product. For more information see, Creating a Competitive Product. |

You can attach only one image to a product. Possible file types that can be attached are bmp, jpeg, jpg, and gif.
The images attached to a product are uploaded only to the consolidated database (CDB). |
Display product texts |

You can view a short description of the product in different languages. |
Display sales area information |
® Sales Area |
You can view sales area information of the selected product. A sales area is a combination of the distribution channel, sales organization and division where the: · Distribution channels define how different products can reach customers. For example, Wholesale, Retail or Direct sales. · Sales organization defines the national or international sales sub-sector, such as the northern region of South East Asia Pacific. · Division is a way of grouping material or products. It further lets you organize your sales structure around groups of similar products or product lines.
You can have more than one sales area assigned to a product, but a product can belong only to one division. |
Display measurement units |

You can view details such as, the volume, weight, and alternative units of the selected product. The alternative units assigned to a product are displayed in the Alternative Units tile. A product can have more than one alternative unit.
A product with the base unit Piece is sold in the sales unit Box. Box is the alternative unit for the product. |
Display structured products |
® Structured Products |
You can view if the product is a structured product or if the product is a part of a structured product. Structured products consist of a header product and any number of component products. They are used to represent a group of products as a distinct unit in certain processes.
Bicycle is a structured product. Pedal, Handle Bar and Chassis are components of the structured product Bicycle.

Display opportunities |

You can view the opportunities for the selected product. To create an opportunity see Creating an Opportunity.
You can only view the opportunities for a product in Mobile Sales and not in Mobile Service. |
Display campaigns |

You can view campaign details for the selected product. To create a campaign see Creating a Campaign.

You can view the various sub-categories assigned to a product in the product hierarchy. Choose Show All Categories to view all the product hierarchies and their corresponding categories. Product categories
make it possible to group products according to different criteria. Product

Use structured products search |

You can search for a product that is a structured product, or search for a product that is a part of a structured product. You can view details of a product by selecting the desired product from the list in the Structured Products List tile. |
Display the conditions records for a product |

You can view the condition records for a product in a specific sales area. For more information, see Displaying the Condition Records for a Product.
