Use

You establish relationships between products to help you increase the sales of your products. By relating products, other products can be offered in addition to, or in place of the selected product.

Relationships are established between products using relation types. Relation types allow you to establish the manner in which two business objects are related.

Example

The relation type between the products:

·         Coke and Pepsi can be ‘competes with‘.

·         Pedal and Cycle can be ‘is a part of‘.

You cannot establish, change, or delete relationships between existing products, using the relation types that are downloaded from CRM Online. For more information about maintaining relationships between products in CRM Online, see Structure linkProduct Maintenance Functions.

Note

You can only establish relationships between products using the relation types that are created in the Mobile System Maintenance application.
