Workflow 
This topic describes the sequence of steps administrators must perform to configure the multitenant portal environment and to integrate functional tenants in the portal.
· You have planned your multitenant portal environment. See Planning.

1. Set up the ABAP user store for the tenant. See Setting Up User Stores for a Multitenant Portal.
2. Configure the User Management Engine (UME) to support multitenancy in the portal. See Enabling the UME for Multitenant Portal.
3. Create a portal tenant system in the portal. See Creating a Portal Tenant System.
4. Define the UME connection strings, in the portal tenant system object, to the specific ABAP client where user data for the tenant is stored. See Defining UME Data Source Properties in a Portal Tenant System.
5. Create the tenant in the portal. See Creating a Portal Tenant.
6. Delegate administration tasks to global and tenant administrators. See Delegating Administration Tasks.
