Curriculum
A special kind of course that contains other courses. In SAP Learning Solution, a curriculum is a specific instance of a curriculum type. Thus, a curriculum is a collection of courses whose sequence is determined by the sequence rules of the curriculum type elements.
Visual explanation: The curriculum incorporates the individual curriculum elements, that is, courses with varying delivery methods.
The curriculum is available to learners through the Learning Portal. In the Learning Portal, the learner searches for suitable a training opportunity, for example, in the form of a curriculum offered by the company consisting of a series of scheduled courses with varying delivery methods (such as WBT, classroom training, online test). The learner finds the curriculum, registers for it in the Learning Portal, possibly makes a rebooking for one of the course dates, if necessary, cancels a course booking in the portal, or launches one of the courses in the curriculum.
The training administrator edits the curriculum in Training Management and makes it availale to learners in the Learning Portal.
