Course Info (Infotype 1026) 

Definition

This infotype lets you append the following additional information indicators to a course, internal or external flag, session flag, course language, lock flag, and delete flag.

Use

The Course Info infotype is used:

·        To determine the language in which a course will be held.

·        To establish whether the course in question is internal or external.

·        To determine whether a course is locked or deleted when you book participation, since bookings are not allowed for a course that has been locked or deleted.

Structure

The Course Info infotype comprises the following information:

Internal/external flag

This indicator shows whether the course in question is being conducted by the company itself (internal) or by an external training provider (external).

Course language

The course language specifies the language in which a course is to be held. You can always change the language you specify here at a later stage.

Lock flag

When you lock a course because you do not want to allow any further bookings for the time being, a lock indicator is automatically written in the infotype.

Deletion flag

When you cancel a course, a deletion flag is automatically written in the infotype.

Booking option

You can flag a course that is included in a curriculum as exclusive to the curriculum. The course can then only be booked as part of the curriculum. At the level of the course, you can specify the following:

·        Course can only be booked as part of the curriculum

·        Course can be booked independent of the curriculum as well

·        The option for booking the course as part of the curriculum is specified for the course type (not the course)

Infotype maintenance

This infotype is maintained automatically when you:

·        Create or plan a course

·        Lock or cancel a course
