You use the application Authorized Materials and Material Packages to edit:

Integration

The application Authorized Materials and Material Packages is based on the iPPE workbench. Prerequisites

In Customizing for Defense Forces and Public Security , you have made the required settings for the iPPE workbench by choosing Start of the navigation path Organizational Flexibility Next navigation step Material Planning Objects and Material Packages iPPE Interface Administration. End of the navigation path

The MPO user profile must be assigned to users of the Authorized Materials and Material Packages application. You can make this assignment in the application User Assignment for iPPE Workbench (transaction OPPE13).

You call up the Authorized Materials and Material Packages application using transaction /ISDFPS/MPO.

Screen Layout

The screen layout of the Authorized Materials and Material Packages application is divided into the following screen areas:

Function Bar and Selection Area

The function bar comprises pushbuttons that you can use to create or call up objects, manage your favorites, show and hide screen areas, switch between display and edit mode, and show legends.

The objects that are selected for display or editing are listed in the selection area . They are also listed as structures in the case of hierarchical assignments. The following symbols denote the different object types (nodes, alternatives, and variants):
