Creating Staff Assignment Proposals You create a staff assignment proposal for one or more positions (or one or more force elements) to name the persons required for the positions or force elements for operational or exercise planning purposes.
You may have to select an organizational measure before you can edit force elements.
You have familiarized yourself with assignment to contingents; for more information, see Creating/Assigning Objects for Op. Structures/Exercise Targets
You are in the edit mode of the
Personnel Categories Planning
application (transaction /ISDFPS/PERS1).
Select the required force element.
Choose
Search for Personnel Categories
.
Select the required position if necessary.
Find the required person using the search area.
Choose .
Select the required person.
Choose
Create Staff Assignment Proposal
.
Select the required object to which you want to assign the person.
Assign contingents if required.
Save your changes.
Select the required force element.
Choose
Detail Screens.
Choose the
Staff Assignment Proposals
tab page.
Select either the force element or the required position.
Choose
Create.
Select the required person.
Assign contingents if required.
Save your changes.
You can also generate staff assignment proposals when you copy a force element or structure from the actual personnel of the copy template directly.
The system creates the relationship

(
Staff Assignment Proposal for Exercise
) in
infotype 1985
in
Planned
status and displays it on the
Staff Assignment Proposals
tab page.
You then perform the status change using the Authorized Personnel measure area until the status is set to
Active
. Active staff assignment proposals are displayed on the
Staff Assignment
tab page. You can
convert
these to operational/exercise relationships.
