Condition determination provides the following options:

• You use the charge calculation method to define whether and how the system is to calculate a charge for the periods in which an account has only existed for part of the period (such as the months in which an account was opened or closed).

• You use the period of use to define how often the systems is to calculate interest or a charge. In addition, you can define whether calculation does not start until a certain date after the account is opened.

• By using the determination method you can define a time period in which the system is to determine the amount. Depending on the size of the amount, the system finds a condition. You can shift this period in relationship to the start of the period of use.

• You use the turnover class to define a balance that is to serve as the basis of condition determination. You use additional parameters to define the calculation of the balance from amounts in the turnover class more exactly.

  You can also use the calculation basis to define the balances for interest calculation or the balance for charge calculation.
