Amount Category 115020 - Item Charge
You use this amount category to represent a charge that is levied dependent on an item counter (for example, number of bank transfers). The item counter is defined in the application. For example, it could be updated by payment items.
This amount category supports condition determination.
The basic data for the calculation of charges is available in condition processing. Depending on the settings in condition type Customizing and in condition processing, you can definie the following charges:
Simple charge
Charges for tiered, interval or mixed tiered and interval calculation
Charges for the tiers of condition determination
Charges for the complex tiers of condition determination
The following fields are always available for editing a condition with the amount category 115020 (Item Charge):
Condition form
Rounding type
Rounding unit
Amount counter
Free items
Maximum number of items
Payment currency
Exchange rate
However, this field is available only in the Bank Analyzer
application.
Check in sequence which conditions apply to your settings. The system responds to the rule derived from these conditions. An action defines which fields are available.

field is 0 (No Tiered or Interval Calculation).

If the condition is a markup condition, then the Amount
field is available for the absolute markup, the Percentage
field is available for the relative markup. For more information, see Markup Condition.

field is not 0.

, the following fields for the specification of charges for tiered, interval or mixed tiered and interval calculation are displayed:

If the condition is a markup condition, then the Amount
field is available for the absolute markup, the Percentage
field is available for the relative markup. For more information, see Markup Condition.
The value in the tiers for condition determination
field is 1 (Tiers for Condition Determination).
The fields for the specification of charges for tiered condition determination are identical to the fields for tiered calculation (see Action 2). These are displayed in the table control Tiers for Condition Determination
. In addition, the Amount Limit (Screen Output)
field is displayed in the table control.

Note the following difference between tiered calculation and tiers for condition determination:
The reference value for the tiers in tiered calculation is the calculation basis that is set in condition type Customizing. The system also uses the charge of the determined tier on the result calculation type as the calculation basis defined in condition type Customzing.
The system determines the reference value for the tiers in condition determination based on the settings on the Condition Determination
tab page, such as turnover class, period of use, and determination period. The system uses the charge of the determined tier on the result calculation type as the calculation basis defined in condition type Customzing.

field is 2 (Complex Tiers for Condition Determination).

Condition item (upper and lower limit)
Text for tiered/interval condition item
Specification of charges for the complex tiers of condition determination.

, the system displays different fields depending on the value in the Tiered and Interval Calculation (Item)
